| My lords, abate your pride somewhat and mitigate your
tyranny, so that the people have some air and space to live. Peasants,
allow yourselves also to be advised and abandon some of your articles
which go too far and demand too much: settle this matter in accordance
with human right and justice, if not in a Christian fashion. Exhortation
