Onesiphorus followed the royal
road which leads to Lystra and ceaselessly tried to discover Paul, studying
the faces of the passers-by, according to the description which Titus had
given him. And he saw Paul coining. He was a short man, with a baldhead,
bandy legged and sturdy; his eyebrows met in middle and he
had a slightly hooked nose. He was full of charm for sometimes he had the
appearance of a man and sometimes he had the face of an angel. When he saw
Onesiphorus, Paul smiled; and Onesiphorus said, 'Hail, servant of the
blessed God; and he said, 'Grace be on you and on your house.'
